Estonian Language classes for adults are held at Estonian House on a weekly basis. The classes run for 1.5 hours and are on a weekday night, usually Wednesday. Everyone is welcome and people can join at anytime. Kirsti Horst, has been running the course since February 2015 and tries to make learning Estonian fun since it's not in the top 10 most difficult languages in the world for no reason! The focus is on listening, speaking and building knowledge like Lego blocks. Students learn to speak Estonian, and think like an Estonian. Kirsti holds a BA in Scandinavian languages and cultures from Tartu University. She is passionate about passing on her mother tongue to her two young children and the whole Australian-Estonian community in Sydney.
